Alchemist Lab: Magic Potion
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Alchemist Lab: Magic Potion (the “App”) handles information. Please read it before using the App. By installing and using the App you agree to the practices described here.
In short: the App is a single-player, offline game. It has no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics. It does not collect personal data, and it does not transmit your data to us or to any third party. Everything the App creates stays on your device.
We do not collect, store on our servers, sell, rent or share any personal information. In particular, the App does not ask for and does not gather:
The App can use the device camera as a gameplay instrument: the live image is measured for colour and light, and those measurements are turned into in-game reagents. The camera stream is processed on your device, in real time, in memory. It is not recorded, not uploaded and not shared. Camera access is requested only when you open a feature that needs it, and iOS asks for your permission first. You may refuse or later revoke access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera; the rest of the App keeps working without it.
You may choose a photograph from your photo library to catalogue as an in-game specimen or to seal as your alchemist’s portrait, and you may save a generated image back to your library. Selection is made through the standard iOS picker, which hands the App only the single item you pick — the App has no access to the rest of your library. A picked image is stored inside the App’s own private container on the device and is never uploaded anywhere.
To let you continue where you left off, the App writes game data into its private storage area on the device: progress through the stages, discovered formulae and codex entries, scores and grades, collected reagents and specimens, saved images, and your settings. This data:
If you have enabled Apple’s iCloud Backup for your device, this data may be included in your own encrypted device backup. Such backups are managed by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy; we have no access to them.
The App contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no social-network SDKs and no third-party trackers. It does not create user profiles and does not use your data for advertising or marketing. If a screen offers an external link (for example to this policy or to our support page), opening it is your choice and hands the request to your browser, which is governed by its own privacy terms.
The App is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will address it.
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export or erase. You remain in full control of the data on your device:
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA give you rights over your personal data. Those rights are respected in full — and in practice they are satisfied by the fact that no personal data is collected, processed or sold.
Game data is kept inside the App’s sandboxed container and is protected by the security and file encryption features that iOS provides for your device. Because no data is transmitted, there is no transfer of your information for anyone to intercept.
We may update this Privacy Policy — for example if a future version of the App gains a feature that handles data differently. The revised policy will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be made clear before the affected feature is used. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Questions about this policy or about privacy in the App are welcome at [email protected], or through our support page. We aim to answer within a few business days.
